The NDIS provides services and support to people with disability.

NDIS stands for the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

National means all around Australia.
​
Disability can affect:

a person's senses - such as their sight or hearing

a person's ability to move or use their body
-
the way a person thinks, learns or understands

the way a person feels, or their mental health.

Insurance is a service you pay for to protect yourself against problems in the future. For example, if you get a disability in the future, the insurance pays for the cost of your supports and services.

Scheme is a type of government program.
How to apply for the NDIS?
Check your eligibility
Please visit the NDIS website, call 1800 800 110 or email enquiries@ndis.gov.au to find out if you're eligible for the NDIS.
Make an access request
You can make a Verbal Access Request (VAR) or fill out an Access Request Form (ARF). You can do this by phone, email, or at an NDIS or Local Area Coordinator (LAC) office.
Get your access decision
The NDIA will write to you to confirm your eligibility for the NDIS. If you're eligible, you'll be contacted to arrange a planning meeting.
Plan your support
When you have Support Coordination funded in your plan, contact us and together we will coordinate NDIS supports so you can live the life you want.
